Job Description:

As a Data Analyst, you will help turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The Data Analyst will use the data to help identify or support initiatives for employee development (coaching) and business optimization (policy enhancements, process improvements) with the objective of improving the cohesion and overall quality across different departments.


Responsibilities and Duties:

The Data analyst will develop analysis and reporting capabilities

  • Extract, validate, transform and summarize data generated from databases and reporting tools for various needs including, but not limited to, auditing, scheduled reports, ongoing and ad-hoc analytics to the business
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, such as Voice of Customer, Net Promoter Score and Quality Assurance
  • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Assist with the documentation, optimization, and automation of processes where possible
  • Various other tasks as needs evolve

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Critical thinking, attention to details and analytical skills to see through the data and be vigilant in the analysis to find the correct conclusions
  • Ability to work with teams in local and remote locations
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel Skills
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills sufficient to provide clear and detailed explanation and interpretation of information, analysis and recommendations
  • Must have strong time management skills to work multiple reports or initiatives within short deadlines


Working Language:

  • English (written and spoken) is the language used 99% of the time, as work colleagues and clientele are both geographically dispersed within and outside of Quebec
  • Internal communications between colleagues occur in English or in French, depending on the parties involved. Strategic suppliers are located outside of Quebec
  • A basic knowledge of French is required for any position located within Quebec. English is required for this position, as it could report to someone outside of Quebec, and requires frequent out of province communications
