Job Description:

The Sales Analyst is responsible for organizing sales activities, and ensuring that all the administrative and support functions of the sales department are operating effectively. A successful candidate will be organized, efficient and possess the ability to work in both an autonomous and collaborative fashion. The primary role of the Sales Analyst is to proactively manage all operational, administrative and logistical functions, imperative to the support and growth of Pivotal’s sales channels.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Tracking sales incentive programs and compensation processes
  • Acting as point person for all projects, tasks and process improvement initiatives for Sales
  • Analyzing sales force realignment requests
  • Developing and managing distribution of various sales reports
  • Coordinating Sales events, trade shows, conferences and other travel related initiatives
  • Reviewing and analyzing month end financial reports
  • Evaluating third-party solutions for appropriate sales operations

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Marketing
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales environment
  • Problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Project management skills, with the ability to drive projects forward to completion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Sales CRM, advanced online research and social media
  • Strong accounting abilities (capable of reading a P&L)
  • Communication proficiency and ability to work effectively with other departments

 

Working Language:

  • English (written and spoken) is the language used 99% of the time, as work colleagues and clientele are both geographically dispersed within and outside of Quebec
  • Internal communications between colleagues occur in English or in French, depending on the parties involved. Strategic suppliers are located outside of Quebec
  • A basic knowledge of French is required for any position located within Quebec. English is required for this position, as it could report to someone outside of Quebec, and requires frequent out of province communications
